PokerHands beta 9.5

New release: PokerHands beta 9.5 (04/04/2009):

This beta introduces support for OnGame 5 Card Draw and Hold’Em (cash game) and fixes some bugs you’ve been reporting, like ATS from SB always displaying 100%, Export buttons for triple draw not working or some people having trouble connecting to PostgreSQL even though there settings are correct.

Two versions are released:
Full version:
http://www.cartridgesoftware.com/files/pokerhands_b95.exe

Upgrade from beta 9:
http://www.cartridgesoftware.com/files/pokerhands_b9_to_b95.exe

I highly advise people running beta 9 to have the upgrade: it won’t reset your database settings, upgrade your config file for OnGame without destroying your other settings, and it’ll also upgrade your beta 9 database to 9.5.

If you want to run a clean full install though, Please save your hand history files that were moved to PokerHands subfolders as a clean full install over your previous version of PokerHands will clean the folder.

Enjoy!

PokerHands beta 5

http://www.cartridgesoftware.com/pokerhands_b5.exe here!

Changelog:

PokerHands beta5 11/13/2008
* New features
+ Support for PostgreSQL databases.
+ 5 Card Draw support! Lovers of this game will now be able to track their winnings!
5 Card Draw support introduces new stats for this particular variant:
W$WSD            -    Won Money When Saw Draw
SD                -    Saw Draw (%)
Players/D(%)    -    Number of players at Draw (%)
PDR                -    Pre-Draw Raise (%)
CCPD            -    Cold Call Pre-Draw
CPDR            -    Call Pre-Draw Raise
AF(PD/AD)        -    Aggression Factor (Pre-Draw, After-Draw)
AFq(PD/AD)        -    Aggression Frequency (Pre-Draw, After-Draw)
As you can see most of those stats are derivatives from Hold’Em. Hold’Em stats applicable
to Five Card Draw are of course fully supported (VP$IP,RFI,$/100,W$SD, etc. etc.)
+ 5 Card Draw replayer!
+ Added meta information to databases (for future compatibility and migration issues)
* Changes
+ Microsoft SQL Compact Server support is dropped by now as there were deployment
problems when using such a database. Until Microsoft’s support finds a solution, you won’t
be able to create and use those kind of databases anymore.
+ There is no longer a “default” field for the databases. This was misleading for most
users.
+ If you don’t have an active database (for instance: first time you run the soft), you will
be prompted if you would like to run a wizard. This behavior should be much more user-friendly.
+ Two databases can now have the same name as long as the path is different. The database name
is only a logicial name contained in metadata and has no impact whatsoever on the system.
+ AFq is now displayed as a percentage, not a decimal number.
+ Players are now smartly displayed around the poker table in the replayer. Short handed
games look much better that way.
* Bugfixes
+ Minor tooltip fixes on toolbar.
+ Reordering columns’ display issue is now partially fixed (see issues).
+ Mucked cards are now taken into account for everest replayed hands.
+ Clicking directly on the verbose list in the replayer now triggers actions properly.
* Known Issues
+ Amount Rebuy/Addon on hold’em tourneys are not correctly taken into account.
+ Manually re-ordered columns via drag’n drop are not saved correctly. Please use the
dedicated form to re-order the columns.
+ Unactive/Sitting Out players are displayed again in the replayer. A better behavior for
those players will be introduced in the next version.
